Quilt-N-Time

Quilt-N-Time is Monticello’s local quilt guild and an important connection point for quilters in northern San Juan County. The group meets at 6 p.m. on the third Tuesday from September through June at the San Juan Senior Center at Hideout Golf Course, 648 S. Hideout Way.

The school-year calendar is worth noting: regular meetings pause during July and August. Published descriptions of the group mention “Sew and Tell,” lessons, classes, and informal sewing time. That combination should suit quilters who want both instruction and a place to bring current work.

A guild in a long-distance shopping area

San Juan County does not currently have a verified dedicated quilt shop. From Monticello, fabric shopping often means planning around a much longer drive than it would along the Wasatch Front. A local guild can therefore be the best place to hear where other quilters are buying supplies, find help with a technique, and learn about regional events.

Quilt-N-Time also participates in Monticello’s Pioneer Day celebration with a community quilt show at the Monticello Branch Library. The 2026 show ran from noon to 3 p.m. on July 25. Check the next Pioneer Day schedule rather than assuming the same date or hours.

The guild does not maintain a public calendar, and older online descriptions list a former Main Street meeting place. Use the current Hideout Way location, but confirm with the senior center before attending. The statewide guild directory lists another active San Juan County group in Blanding, and the San Juan County guide covers local fabric options and shows.
