Fabric stores in Cache County

Cache County’s four verified store profiles cover a wide range of sewing interests. Logan provides traditional quilting fabric, specialty handwork, several machine brands, longarms, education, and repair. Hyde Park adds a Cache Valley design company whose original fabric and craft products are sold well beyond the county.

Fabric, kits, and handwork

Stylish Fabrics Bernina specializes in quilting cotton, flannel, and Shannon Cuddle. It has operated since 1958 and combines fabric with machines, repair, classes, and longarm education.

My Girlfriend’s Quilt Shoppe adds fabric, precuts, kits, patterns, Kimberbell, machine embroidery, clubs, events, and online learning. Huckleberry Moose is the county’s specialty stop for wool appliqué, embroidery kits, original panels and fabric, thread, notions, and paper goods.

In Hyde Park, ADORNit designs fabric, quilt and stitch kits, appliqués, machine-embroidery projects, papercrafts, gifts, décor, and apparel. The company says it has boutiques in Hyde Park and Logan, but its website does not publish enough current location detail to maintain a separate verified Logan profile.

Machines and service

Stylish Fabrics carries BERNINA, Juki, and Handi Quilter, with certified in-house service for several supported lines. My Girlfriend’s carries Baby Lock, Brother, and Handi Quilter and accepts all machine makes for service while specializing in Baby Lock, Brother, and Handi Quilter. It also offers local and mail-in longarm quilting.

Wimmer’s Sew & Vac is no longer listed as an active Logan stop. Minky Couture now operates at Wimmer’s former 745 N. Main Street address, even though the old Wimmer’s website still displays that location. Minky Couture sells finished blankets rather than fabric by the yard, so it is not included as a fabric shop.

Guilds and trip planning

Cache County has directory listings for Needles and Friends, Needle Nutz, South Cache Quilters, and 3 B’s Quilt Guild. Use each profile’s verification note before attending because small guild meeting details can change.

Most Logan stores can be combined in one day, but Huckleberry Moose and ADORNit deserve a call first because their published boutique schedules are incomplete or conflicting. Use the Logan guide to organize the city route.
