About K & H Quilt Shoppe

K & H Quilt Shoppe is Kaysville’s fabric-and-learning stop, with quilting fabric, precuts, notions, project supplies, and classes. Owner Kaye describes more than 40 years of quilting and teaching experience, including 12 years at Ben Franklin, so the shop’s strength is practical help as much as inventory.

The current calendar supports several levels of learning. Freshman Academy is aimed at beginners, while Sophomore Academy, machine quilting, Piece Like Crazy, Junior Academy, and Thursday Night Quilters provide follow-on instruction and social sewing. Read the class description before registering to confirm supplies, skill level, and whether a sewing machine is required.

Plan around the seasonal schedule. From March through December, K & H is open Tuesday through Friday until 6 p.m. and Saturday until 5 p.m. During January and February, it closes at 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The store is closed Sunday and Monday all year.

The current address includes Suite 4 at 250 West 200 North. Combine K & H with Quilter’s Attic for another quilt-shop class calendar, or continue a few minutes north to Layton for machine sales and repair. The Kaysville and Davis County guides put all five county stores into one route.

Plan your visit: Hours are seasonal. From March through December the shop closes at 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday; in January and February it closes at 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. It is closed Sunday and Monday year-round.
