Fabric stores in Roy, Utah

Rea’s Fabrics has served Roy since 1987 and is most useful when a project calls for soft fabric or a finished edge. The family-owned shop specializes in flannel and minky blankets, bibs, burp cloths, customization, and hemstitching.

Hemstitching creates evenly spaced holes around the fabric so a crocheted border can be added. That service makes Rea’s a particularly practical destination for receiving blankets, baby gifts, and heirloom-style edges. Its current online assortment also includes quilting cotton, double gauze, knit fabric, polar fleece, notions, yarn, and 44-inch quilting Cuddle, so it should no longer be described as a non-quilting store.

The official website does not publish hours. Current public listings show Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call before visiting because older listings show additional open days.
