Canyon Country Quilt Guild

Canyon Country Quilt Guild is Kanab’s twice-monthly daytime guild. It meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays at the Kane County Active Living Center, 172 E. 100 North.

Meeting and open-sewing schedule

Utah Quilt Guild’s 2026 directory gives the most detailed schedule. On the second Wednesday, the chapter holds an 11 a.m. to noon meeting followed by open sewing from noon to 4 p.m. The fourth-Wednesday gathering runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kane County summarizes both days as 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., so confirm the day’s closing time before depending on the final hour.

The county lists membership at $20 per year and says the guild is seeking new members who want to learn quilting. The long open-sewing blocks make this a practical option for quilters who want more project time than a short monthly meeting provides.

The Active Living Center asks visitors to use its current newsletter for dates and times. Call 435-644-4320 before a first visit or holiday-week meeting. Ask whether visitors need to bring a machine, extension cord, cutting tools, or a particular project.
