Mountain Valley Quilt Guild

Mountain Valley Quilt Guild is Gunnison’s current Utah Quilt Guild chapter. It meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center Street. The evening schedule makes it a practical option for women who cannot attend a weekday-morning group.

Public information about individual monthly programs, dues, and guest policies is limited. This profile therefore does not assume that every meeting includes a class, demonstration, or sew-in. Contact the statewide Utah Quilt Guild before attending for the first time and ask whether the location is unchanged and whether supplies or a project are needed.

Community quilt-show connection

The Scandinavian Festival identifies Mountain Valley among the Sanpete groups that contribute work to its annual quilt show in Ephraim. The show accepts quilts from experienced, young, and first-time makers and invites visitors to vote for favorites. That gives members a visible community outlet beyond monthly meetings.
