Fabric stores in Gunnison, Utah

Gunnison is Sanpete County’s main quilting and sewing retail center. Quilt S’more combines a fabric store, machine dealership, classroom, longarm resource, repair service, and online catalog at one Main Street address.

The shop carries quilting cotton, cuddle and minky, wide backing, precuts, batting, patterns, books, thread, rulers, cutting tools, and notions. Machine departments cover Husqvarna Viking, Handi Quilter, and Singer, while specialty products include AccuQuilt, Floriani, Quilters Select, Sew Steady, and Anita Goodesign.

Learning, longarming, and repair

Quilt S’more lists quilting, embroidery, and software classes, plus longarm quilting, certification, and rental. The 2026 calendar included Thursday evening come-and-sew sessions. Its repair form lets customers request service for a sewing machine. Check the calendar and call ahead because published regular-hour sources do not agree.

Two ways to quilt with a group

Mountain Valley Quilt Guild meets at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday at Gunnison City Hall, 38 West Center Street. The evening time is useful for women who work during the day.

Gunnison Valley Senior Center also reported active quilting-room sessions at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 2026. Those sessions are intended for the local senior community, while Mountain Valley is the current statewide-guild chapter.
