About Cozy Minky

Cozy Minky Co. is both a fabric source and a locally rooted blanket business. Vernal natives Jared and Laci Simper started the company in 2021 after purchasing a local quilt shop. The business later moved into its current Highway 40 location, and its blankets are sewn in the Uintah Basin.

Minky is sold by the yard for seamless quilt backs, blankets, curtains, tablecloths, and other projects. The fabric is 100% polyester. The store also sells ready-to-ship and made-to-order blankets in approximate sizes ranging from 20-by-30-inch snugglers to 60-by-90-inch extra-large adult blankets. Current collections include textured, wildlife, western, baby, and seasonal designs.

Care matters with minky: machine wash cold without fabric softener, pods, or dryer sheets, then hang dry or use air or low heat. High heat can damage the fibers. Yardage is final sale, and custom or personalized products are excluded from the standard 30-day return policy.

Customers can order online, track shipments, choose store pickup when available, join Facebook Live events, or shop in person at 1378 East Highway 40.
