Fabric stores in Uintah County

Uintah County’s verified fabric businesses are both in the Vernal area, but they serve different project needs. Apricot Stitches is the traditional quilt-shop and finishing stop. Cozy Minky supplies minky by the yard and produces blankets locally. Quilts on the Edge connects local quilters through meetings, instruction, swaps, service work, and shows.

Apricot Stitches sells fabric, precuts, kits, patterns, panels, notions, books, toweling, gifts, and finished quilts in store and online. Its longarm service includes consultation on quilting design and thread plus complimentary trimming. Ask about quilt-top preparation, backing and batting, turnaround, and pricing before drop-off.

The Main Street shop is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and closed Saturday through Monday.

Cozy Minky: yardage and locally sewn blankets

Cozy Minky sells 100% polyester minky by the yard and offers ready-to-ship or made-to-order blankets sewn in the Uintah Basin. Its sizes span snuggler, baby, lap, throw, adult, and extra-large adult, with online ordering, shipping, store pickup, and Facebook Live shopping.

The official website does not publish storefront hours.
