Quilting in Kamas, Utah

Kamas is the center of the county’s most clearly documented quilting community. Kamas Valley Quilters meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday at a private home in nearby Marion.

A local guild with regional connections

The guild does not publish a public calendar or program list, so its recurring activities should not be inferred from other chapters. Its current activity is clear, however: Kamas quilters joined guilds in Heber City and Midway for a large 2026 service project making roughly 700 patriotic baby quilts for families at the Heber Valley and Park City hospitals.

Because the listed meeting place is a private home, confirm the date, address, and visitor arrangements through Utah Quilt Guild before attending for the first time. Do not arrive at the directory address unannounced.

Shows and shopping
