Makers & Co. combines fabric, thread, yarn, gifts, and classes in the former Sewing Basket location.

For machines, parts, repair, or instruction, compare Nuttall’s Pleasant Grove and Dave’s Bernina. Call first when you need a particular machine, model-specific accessory, or service appointment. Southern-county shoppers can use Frames & Sew Forth for a local fabric, quilting-supply, and custom-framing stop; its limited online presence makes calling ahead especially important.

Soft Squares adds quilting supplies, open sew, machine and classroom rentals, online shopping, and organized retreats in Orem. Retail hours are Tuesday and Thursday, 6–8 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.; confirm before driving. Its Friday open-sew sessions are separate from retail shopping hours.

Plan the route around closing times

American Quilting currently closes at 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, so schedule it early. Harmony stays open until 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and can work well as the final stop. Makers & Co. stays open until 7 p.m. Thursday. Always confirm hours, classes, and service availability before a long drive.
